The Doctor Recruiter performs duties related to physician recruitment for designated dental specialties across all markets. Recruits and screens qualified doctors and facilitates full cycle recruiting from presentation to the practice to contract. This position would also be responsible for comprehensive physician recruitment plans in accordance with building and maintain a doctor pipeline.
Duties Included But Not Limited To:
- Responsible for candidate lead generation, pre-screening and appropriate follow-up for physician candidates in designated specialties.
- In coordination with the recruitment team, develops effective recruitment strategies/campaigns for recruitment of physicians in training and in practice in designated specialties.
- Provides responsive communication between the practice, operations team, and candidates.
- May represent the company at association meetings and recruitment dinners.
- Conducts activities with systems and database to maintain accurate and comprehensive files such as candidate records, candidate pipeline, internal and external reports, and correspondence.
- Maintains communication with resident contacts to identify potential and future candidates of residency programs.
- Conducts personal/professional reference checking on physician candidates if applicable to the practice’s requests.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred (appropriate experience can be substituted for education.) Must be familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, Clinical experience is helpful.
- Ability to develop alternative solutions to problems; comparing and analyzing data; preparing clear, concise, thorough, meaningful, and grammatically correct written reports, letters, memoranda, and other documents.
- Ability to travel 35% of the time
- Ability to commute to Nashville corporate headquarters 3 days a week
- Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel required.
- Knowledge of Webex, Zoom or like other virtual webinar platforms is preferred.
- Experience with Recruitment CRM/ ATS tracking systems
- 2 to 5 years’ experience in physician recruitment or healthcare recruitment preferred.
